After several years of private piano lessons (with Sofia Krakovitch and others), Daniel Elias Brenner first attended the vocational school in Krumbach (Pavol Kovac) and then studied classical piano at the Music Academy Augsburg-Nuremberg, with Hanae Nakajima and Ernst Mauss. During his studies he also intensively engaged in composition and already wrote for himself and other artists. In his piano diploma exam he played his own composition Demons as a contemporary contribution. A work in 12-tone technique. After this study he got a job as répétiteur at the chamber opera in Munich. Afterwards he studied film music and sound design at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, among others with film music Oscar winner Prof. Cong Su and Prof. Jörg Reiter.
His diploma film at the Film Academy The Night Father Christmas Died (director: Martin Schreier), which was recorded by the Filmorchester Babelsberg, received a nomination for the Student Academy Award (Student Oscar) in 2010.
Since 2011 he has been working as a freelance composer for TV, film and advertising and also as a composer for the labels SONOTON Music and WARNER/CHAPPELL.
About 70 international film awards have been awarded to him or the films with his music.
He has worked with Johannes Moser, the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, the Bruckner Symphony Orchestra-Stuttgart, Jan Pas, Christian Elin and Threestyle, among others.
