Ursel Quint is a pianist and a composer and lives in Bonn.
Her professional musical training began at the Musikhochschule in Cologne. Further studies at Indiana University of Bloomington in the USA, concluding with a concert diploma from the Musikhochschule in Zurich.
Since the summer of 2009, she has been working in a collaborative project with Barry L. Roshto as the Media Art Duo SnowKrash, which concerns itself primarily with the relationship of image and sound. Her Media Art work, as one could expect in regards to her artistic background, concerns itself primarily with the tension between electronic reproductions of processed material and live performance. Furthermore, she interests herself intensively with the role of sound in video art.
