Marcus Schinkel studied Jazz piano and Classical Music at the ArtEZ Conservatorium in Arnhem, Netherlands.
In 1999, he started the premiere of the first Classic meets Jazz project at the German government seat in Bonn, Engagements with his program Crossover Beethoven brought Schinkel with his Trio to places in Europe, Russia, the Caribbean and to the German Embassy in Vietnam.
