Johannes Schropp grew up in southern Germany around Ravensburg. Composed since the age of 13, as a young student in Stuttgart with Bernd Asmus, he is currently studying BA composition with Martin Schüttler at the HMDK Stuttgart.
His works are at the edge between music and performance / dance theater or something, although he often stands on stages or lies on floors or stretchers.
Media resources such as video (-s) and text (-e) are often added.
His work has been awarded at several youth composition competitions: In 2016 he was a scholarship holder of the JMD in the Künstlerhaus Schloss Wiepersdorf.
