Born in Bonn in 1990, he began playing the piano at the age of four.
He was taught by the pianist Rose Marie Zartner and was soon considered a highly talented pupil, winning numerous first prizes in the Jugend musiziert competition throughout Germany.
At the age of 15 Fabian Müller began his studies at the Musikhochschule Cologne with Pierre-Laurent Aimard. After further winning first prizes at competitions such as the Prix amadéo de piano in Aachen, he created an international sensation in 2017 as the winner of the ARD Competition, when he was awarded a total of 5 prizes, including the coveted audience prize.
