Dave K. Gross

David is a musician, producer, recording engineer, sound designer. He started playing piano at the age of 4. As his mother recalls, they were at their neighbours' house while their older child was taking lessons. After it was all over and everyone was having coffee in the kitchen, they heard the sound of the piano coming from the other room. Apparently, David had been listening to the whole lesson, and was sitting at the piano playing back what he had just heard, by ear, while everyone else was out of the room.
After High School, he started touring as a keyboard player in a Top 40 cover band, honing his playing skills simply by listening and picking the keyboard parts off the records. 15 years later, he began his career as a recording studio musician and engineer, while composing music for TV commercials and Production Music libraries. A long career with Microsoft as an audio engineer and post-production mixer followed.
Since then, David has worked as an audio post-production mixer, composer, producer, arranger, and session keyboardist, and continues to do so to this day.
