born in germany, since 1982 he lives and works in Vienna.
Piano studies with Erich Appel in Nuernberg, Edgar Trauer in Stuttgart and Leonid Brumberg in Vienna. As a composer he is autodidact.His catalog includes more than 100 compositions for chamber music orchestra, and electronic music, over 40 works for theater and radio drama/art radio, and more than 70 interdisciplinary work.
Together with Renate Pittroff he founded the label wechselstrom. It is located in the 16th district of Vienna. There is also the off space gallery wechselstrom, which is operated as a working space and temporary exhibition and performance place.
