Christian Thiesen

Christian Thiesen was born in Cologne in 2009 and he lives with his family in Bonn. He has taken composition lessons with David Graham from 2017 to 2019. In addition, he occasionally works on musical arrangements of well-known works from the classical music and film music world. Some of his compositions and musical arrangements have already been performed in school concerts.
Christian is also an enthusiastic instrumentalist and singer. Since 2015 he has taken cello lessons with Bernhard Zapp and since 2017 piano lessons with Ulrike Lucius. From 2012 to 2014 he studied recorder with Christa Hässy.
He also took part in two children's opera projects in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 he sang and performed the role of Tamino from Mozart's Zauberflöte and in 2018 he performed the role of Belmonte from Mozart's Entführung aus dem Serail.
