Description

Triptychon for two pianos and string orchestra is a wonderful work composed by Greek composer Christos Papageorgiou.

In three movements each movement show cases the relationship of the two pianos between them, as well as both of them and the string orchestra. With extremely well thought orchestration and great themes all over the work, that spreads at over 20 minutes, this concertino is a great addition to the rather empty niche of double piano concertos.
