Composed for a rather unusual ensemble of Flute, Oboe and Bassoon, Mood Music for Wind Trio, was inspired by the beautiful and audacious counterpoint of Schoenberg's Woodwind Quintet. In five sections, this work seems to be a diary of emotions, even if each one contains sharply contrasting moods. Therefore the sections' borders are quite permeable; motives and timbers pop up in another section or sneak in disguised.
